As a young girl, I remember looking up at the sky and being transfixed by the ever-changing colors and shapes during a morning sunrise or evening sunset. Those magnificent magentas and lemon yellows with streaks of blue, reds and purples were awe inspiring and still fascinate me and inspire my work today.
Over the years I have attended workshops and glasses in sculpting, pottery, and enameling at the Worcester Craft Center. I also studied acrylic and oil painting at the Worcester Art Museum as well as private instruction with local artists. Many of my paintings focus on seascapes and landscapes of the South Coast of Massachusetts, where I get inspiration from the local scenery of our cottage in Fairhaven, MA. Some of these paintings have been featured in galleries on the South Coast.
I believe that art is a never – ending journey, and it is the interpretation of what we see and how we see it that fuels our creativity. It is also about concentrating on color, form and texture, and when this all comes together, it can be a Beautiful Thing!!

She also suggested that I should write a Memoir about my life experiences, which I did and called it “The Art of Living a Colorful Life”. You can click here to purchase a copy.
